Accent Modification

Accent modification services benefit individuals

both professionally and personally. Services

continue to benefit professionals who seek

improvement in overall communication abilities, in

order to reduce listener confusion, reduce the

need for repetitions and conversational repairs,

and ensure the speakers message is truly heard

and understood.

The aim of accent modification training, also known as accent reduction training, is to facilitate the production of Standard American English (SAE). Accent modification training will begin with an evaluation, where base level skills are determined in all areas of speech production: consonant, vowel, stress, intonation, and voice. Upon completion of evaluation, an individualized training program is created to meet your needs and concerns.
