Our Educational Therapists are experts in the Learning Disabilities, and we are dedicated to providing individualized intensive services that help the school-aged child or adult to develop the aptitude needed to read, write, calculate and solve problems. Our focus on personalized connections assures that SLEA clients build a strong foundation of skills. - Educational Therapy is Much More than Tutoring!
Educational Therapy is a process that combines an understanding of how individuals learn, the ways in which feelings can impact learning and the knowledge of specialized teaching methods. Each client’s strengths and weaknesses are assessed by a highly trained, experienced and licensed specialist. A program is designed to strengthen each client’s academic and processing weaknesses.

I wanted to tell you about Ms. Sharon. We showed up last Saturday for our initial session with my child, and he was not ready for session. He was upset, crying and wasn't getting out of the car. Ms. Sharon walked out to introduce herself. She agreed to move session up to Wednesdays to see if that worked out better. She has such a kind and approachable demeanor. When we showed up Wednesday, my child was in a much better mood and actually worked with her. She is a perfect fit for him. I knew you guys were the right fit for this service. All of the therapists we have had from speech, ABA and now ET have been knowledgeable, experienced and always understanding. Thank you for all you guys do.
